Southern Words Pty. Ltd. was incorporated in March 2018 by established freelance translators and editors as a company specialising in the written word. Our head office is on St Kilda Road in the heart of Melbourne, Australia.

We have acquired the translation business of Paul James Compton Business Communications in Germany, and we are continuing this successful operation under the Communicate Right brand whilst extending it with our own Australian and international network of freelance translators and editors.

In addition to providing commercial and academic translation services between a large range of language pairs and editing services for various languages, southernwords is planning to establish a publishing arm specialising in Australian literature and political history beginning in 2021-2.
